Hawes End Jetty, Derwentwater, Lake District, England.
I was looking for a specific jetty I'd seen in a book which was supposedly photographed on Derwentwater according to the photographer! It never materialised, as I walked all the way round the lake to try to find it (approx 9 miles)!!! I did come upon this little gem however, which made up for the dissapointment of not finding the other one. Used my B+W 110 ND filter again, which in the bright sunny conditions provided (slightly tempered by mist), gave me about a 2 min exposure! Obviously a bit of pp was required to get it to this stage. Hope you enjoy! |
